How can using Cash Out help you at Euro 2020 (2021)
by Valeria Di Meglio | by Véronique MASUAKU
What is Cash Out?
It used to be that you had to wait until the final whistle before you could end your bet. That’s all changed now with the introduction of Cash Out. The online bookmaker will give you the opportunity to bring your bet to a sudden end, long before the match ends. You won't receive the total amount that would be paid out if you allow your bet to reach its natural conclusion. This is a way though of ensuring something is received back and often it can get you receiving funds that would not have been attained without this feature.
An Example of How to Use Cash Out
Imagine you place a bet on England to beat Croatia in the group stages of Euro 2020 (2021). The English team get a 1-0 lead but something in your head is telling you they might not be able to keep that lead as Croatia are playing well. Rather than carry on your bet and see that fear and Croatia level the scores or even win the match, you can Cash Out your bet.
The site will display an amount that you can Cash Out for. It won’t be the full amount your bet would win if It carried onto the final whistle. However, it is likely to see your bet making a profit. If England don’t go on to win the game, you’ll be delighted at getting a return from what would have been a losing bet.

Save the Day By Using Cash Out
Cash Out can also get you some return if your selection is struggling. Say England went a goal down and were really having an off-day. You could cash out your bet before the end of the game. It won’t be for a great deal but if they do draw or lose, it’s better than receiving nothing at all. The return you receive can be used on other Euro 2020 bets and hopefully produce some winnings, so the day may well still be a good one.
It’s also possible to partially cash out your bet. If your stake on England to win had been £100, you could decide to Cash Out £50 of the bet. This will see a given return be made into your account. The remaining £50 will carry on and hopefully supply you with a profit.
This is a great feature but you have to be careful how it is used. You will need to follow the game online and be ready to decide whether or not to Cash Out. It’s an often tough decision whether to or not.
Mistakes can be made, you may well Cash Out that England bet and they go and end up winning the match. You could have carried on the bet and received the full win. Many a time you might be ready to Cash Out a bet and then something important happens. It may be that England are 1-0, you’re about to Cash Out and then Croatia go and level the scores. That will change the whole situation and the amount that can be Cashed Out will fall.
Then again, England might go 2-0 up. If that happens, the Cash Out amount will increase as an England win will be more likely. Do you go ahead and Cash Out or let the bet carry on? That’s where a Partial Cash Out might be an idea.
