Arsenal v Man City: Meeting Rich in Goals
by Constance Rigot | by Constance Rigot
Both sides face off in what could be a significant game as far as the title race is concerned. Although it is way too early to be decisive, it would be a massive step in the right direction for the winning side.
This has been one of Premier League’s most entertaining fixtures over the last few years mainly due to the sheer number of goals scored and Monday’s encounter promises to be another goal-glut.
Especially with Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez back in the side, both sides will look to flex their attacking muscle next week.
Arsenal have been very impressive at home this season and are unbeaten since their shock defeat against West Ham United.
However, Wenger’s men will have their work cut out on Monday coming up against the best attack in the league. The home side are plagued with injuries and will have to be at their very best to come away with a positive result.
As for Manchester City, Manuel Pellegrini will be wondering which version of his side turn up on Monday. The Premier League giants have been very inconsistent this season and it has been a case of extremes as far as they are concerned. The Chilean will be hoping that his side’s visit to Emirates is motivating enough to avoid another lapse of concentration and a soulless performance.
Arsenal are expected to continue with the lineup that put two past Aston Villa last weekend. Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez is back in training and could make his way into the starting eleven in place of Joel Campbell.
Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero is back in training for Manchester City and the Argentine is expected to start against the Gunners. Captain Vincent Kompany is a doubt for the game and will be assessed closer to kick off.

Bets
Both teams to score is and seems like a great value for money considering the history of this fixture and their proactive approach in big games. Both teams set up with an aim of getting three points and an open should produce plenty of goals.
There are no certainties in football, but goals are pretty much guaranteed in this game.
Both sides have scored the most number of goals in the league so far and boast some of world’s best attacking talents. Furthermore, City’s defensive frailties and Kompany’s potential absence will open up a window of opportunity for the likes of Ozil and Giroud.
The away side will be aware of their weaknesses and will look to paper over the cracks with goals. Bet365 are offering and a chance to nearly double your money seems too good to turn down.
