Zizou Bergs vs Lorenzo Musetti Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Beijing Open

Lorenzo Musetti is the sixth seed in this week's China Open hard court tournament. He begins his campaign with a first round match against qualifier Zizou Bergs. Will we see an upset? Read our match prediction.

Musetti is the world number 18 but up a place in the live rankings. The Italian is 15th in the Live ATP Race but has a lot of work to do if he wants to be playing in the end-of-season ATP Tour FInals.

Continuing the form that saw him get to the final in Chengdu last week would help. That was his first hard court final of the year but he was beaten in the final by Juncheng Shang in straight sets.

Musetti was in brilliant form in the summer with a string of runs to semi-finals. He won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics but that was on clay courts. 

Zizou Bergs is down at 74th in the latest rankings list and had to qualify to get into this main draw. The Belgian beat Yannick Hanfmann and Corentin Moutet to qualify and did so without dropping a set.

Bergs is up to 72nd in the live rankings after those wins and that equals his career high. The 25-year-old has now won his last four matches after winning both of his Davis Cup matches earlier this month, both in three sets.

His best form this year has been shown on clay courts. He reached a Challenger Tour hard court semi-final but didn't beat any top 100 ranked players that week. He's yet to make it to an ATP Tour hard court quarter-final this year.
