Yannick Hanfmann vs Pedro Cachin Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

Pedro Cachin begins the Indian Wells tournament still looking for his first win of the year. He takes on Yannick Hanfmann in the first round of this Masters 1000 outdoor hard court tournament. For the winner there's a match against the 27th seed Tallon Griekspoor in the last 64. Cachin is currently ranked 79th but has been as high as 70 this year. He's had a terrible year so far with his first three matches of 2024 being on hard courts. All three ended in defeat and he only won one set. Cachin then played on the South American clay court season and at least started winning some more sets. He didn't win any matches though and most recently lost to Facundo Diaz Acosta in Santiago.

It's been going a bit better for world number 57 Yannick Hanfmann. He also needs to improve his form on hard courts with only one out of four matches being won this year. That was in Brisbane where he beat Sebastian Korda to reach the last 16. He also went to South America to play some clay court tournaments and got to the quarter finals in Cordoba. The Rio tournament also saw him get a win over Nicolas Jarry who has been playing well in recent weeks. There's been one previous meeting between the pair with Hanfmann winning last year on grass and only losing three games. This is on a hard court but Hanfmann clearly looks in the better form and can win in straight sets.
