West Indies vs India Prediction & Betting Tips - ICC One Day International
by Devesh Jaganath | in Cricket Predictions
The West Indies will take on India in the second ODI at Kensington Oval on Saturday. India currently lead the series 1-0. The hosts will be hoping to put the last match behind them as they were very poor, managing just 114 runs all out in 23 overs. Shai Hope was the only player that contributed with an innings of any note, making 43 runs off 45 balls, while Alick Athanaze was the only other player to manage a score of more than 20 runs. On the bowling front, Gudakesh Motie took two wickets for 26 runs in 6.5 overs, but it was nowhere near enough to contain the Indians. The West Indians are now winless in their last four matches in all formats and the last six against India. They will likely struggle in this one as well.
Meanwhile, everything went exactly as Rohit Sharma and company would have hoped in the first match, as his bowlers put on an incredible display in the first innings. Ravindra Jadeja bagged three wickets for 37 runs in six overs, but the undisputed best performer on the day was Kuldeep Yadav, who took four wickets for just six runs in three overs, including two maidens. Ishan Kishan scored 52 off 46 at the top of the order in the chase, and despite a few scares early on, they chased down the 114 target in 22.5 overs to take the lead in the series. India are now unbeaten in their last three matches in all formats and will be heavily fancied in this one as well.
