The Wizards have lost 49 of 60 games, with 34 of those being against teams below .500. Brian Keefe’s men were defeated 106-90 last time out by the Heat to end a short two-game trip.

That was their eighth loss in the last 10 games. Their two wins, however, have come in the last four fixtures, and they hope to have the juice to pile more misery on their fellow strugglers. Jordan Poole is one of three players ruled out for this game. Kyshawn George and Richaun Holmes are questionable.

The Jazz have won their last three meetings with the Wizards. They will hope to continue with this trajectory in their bid to claw off the bottom in the West.

Will Hardy’s men have compiled a 15-46 record. They also have lost eight of their last 10 games and are on a two-match skid.

Utah, who are embarking on a five-game road trip, ended a nine-game homestand with a disappointing 134-106 loss to the Pistons. Collin Sexton scored 16 points in the loss in his second game back after a month-long injury layoff.

The Jazz continue to be plagued by injuries, with Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson, Walker Kessler, and John Collins sidelined.
