The Cleveland Cavaliers are away to the Washington Wizards for a battle between the best and worst of the NBA. The Cavs enter this match with the best record in the East, whereas their hosts sit rock bottom in the conference. Read on for our prediction of this match.

The Washington Wizards are on their best stretch of form this season. Brian Keefe’s men have won three successive fixtures for the first time this year.

This run started with a shock 105-103 victory in Minnesota to snap a 16-match losing streak. The Wizards, who are back home after three away games, defeated the Nets 119-102 last time out.

Kyle Kuzma, their second-leading scorer and Jonas Valanciunas, the team’s leading rebounder, have left via trade.

Washington has compiled a league-worst 9-41 record.

The Cavaliers have won the last 11 meetings with the Wizards. Three of the wins came this season and they are seeking a clean sweep for the third successive season.

Kenny Atkinson’s men are having an excellent season and, with 41 wins in 51 outings, have compiled the second-best record in the league. The Cavs got back to winning ways last time out thanks to a 118-115 victory away to the Pistons.

Cleveland were also involved in the recently concluded trade market, bringing in De’Andre Hunter from the Hawks. Hunter, who is averaging almost 20 points a game, replaces Caris LeVert.
