The Washington Wizards (9-42) and the Atlanta Hawks (24-28) will meet at Capital One Arena in Saturday's NBA clash. The Wizards are dead last in the Eastern Conference table, while the Hawks are ninth. Here's our match prediction. 

The Washington Wizards recently welcomed the Cleveland Cavaliers to Capital One Arena on Friday. They lost 134-124, and the result was par for the course, considering they went into the game with an 11-match losing streak against the team. 

Jordan Poole led the team with a career-high 45 points while Kyshawn George scored 17 points, and Bilal Coulibaly contributed 16 points.

The Wizards, following that defeat, saw their best run in the NBA of three wins in a row come to an end. Their form at home has been poor as they come into this game having lost eight consecutive matches. 

The Atlanta Hawks improved to 24-28 in the East table when they beat the Milwaukee Bucks 115-110 at State Farm Arena. This comes after a narrow 126-125 home defeat against the Spurs.

Trae Young contributed 24 points in the game against the Bucks while Dyson Daniels and Mouhamadou Gueye both scored 15 points.

Despite the win, the Hawks have been in really bad shape coming into this game, and that can be attributed to their prior slump that saw them lose eight consecutive matches. Currently, they are 2-9 in their last 11 outings.
