Wales vs Scotland Prediction & Betting Tips - Six Nations
by Indran | in Six Nations Predictions
Wales welcomes Scotland to the Principality Stadium for this second round clash in the Guinness Six Nations. The hosts are smarting from a 29-7 drubbing they received against Ireland in the opening round. They need a response as they meekly surrendered to the Green machine. Wales have been decimated with injuries but need their replacements to show that Dragon's fire. The home team needs an improvement on their recent form as they have only won two of their last seven matches. Defeat for the champions in this match will could see their title defense end after just two rounds. The short format of this tournament ensures any team losing two matches are almost certainly out of the title race. The Welsh have a proud home record against Scotland and have not lost at home to the Scottish since 2002.
Scotland started this season's competition from where they left of last season. Last season's final match saw them score a shock victory away to France and again this year they caused an upset and beat England in the first match. The victory over England was their second successive win over the old enemy and allowed the Scots to retain the Calcutta Cup. They will be facing a wounded Welsh team and can expect a backlash from the home team. Scotland come into this match in great form having only lost once in their last seven matches with that loss coming against the Springboks. They will be desperate to break their two decade long drought win at Murrayfield.

Our Wales vs Scotland Prediction
Wales defeat in the first match has turned this match into a do-or-die affair for them. They will need all the energy they can get from the full house at the Principality Stadium. Scotland will want to show that last week's win over England was no fluke. They have often been guilty of not stringing together two results in a row and will be keen to set that record straight. Scotland may still be tired from the England match therefore we are backing Wales for the upset win.
