Wales plays host to New Zealand at the Principality Stadium for this match in the Autumn International series. The home side are still seeking their first win over the All Blacks since 1935 and will feel this is their best opportunity in a very long time to end their win drought. Wales have been decimated with injuries with captain Dan Biggar also out injured but they will be glad that they are playing an All Backs side that may be a little rusty as a few players did not feature in their last match against Japan. Wales must know that in order to beat the All Blacks they will need all facets of their game to come together especially their defense as the visitors can attack from anywhere on the field. The home side was ruthlessly exposed the last time they met as New Zealand won 54-16 on that occasion.
New Zealand will be without skipper Sam Cane for this match as he fractured his cheekbone while former world player of the year Brodie Retallick is also out due to suspension following his red card in the last match. New Zealand have lost their aura of invincibility in recent times but despite this they still managed to claim the Rugby Championship title this year. They suffered their first ever home losses against both Argentina and Ireland earlier this year and also lost a first ever home test series against Ireland. The return of the three Barrett brothers, Ardie Savea and Sam Whitelock should see a much improved showing from the visitors.
