Wales vs England Prediction & Betting Tips - Six Nations

The Six Nations returns after a week, and in our featured match, we will see England travel to the south to take on Wales on Saturday evening after contract disputes within the Welsh camp threatened to see the game being postponed or potentially canceled. Thankfully, the Welsh players have agreed to go ahead with the match at the Principality Stadium and are in desperate need of a win after suffering back-to-back defeats in their opening two fixtures. Wales got off to a dismal start to the tournament suffering their worst defeat on home soil in their history of the Six Nations when they were taken apart by Ireland 34-10 by Ireland. Unfortunately, it didn’t get too much better for them in the following week’s visit to Scotland, where they lost 35-7. With the side under the spotlight and gaining lots of criticism off the pitch, Wales needs a good performance in this match, though it will likely be much easier said than done.
England will need to block out all the noise surrounding their opponents’ off-the-field issues and focus on improving their own form as they head into the business end of the tournament. England currently occupies the third place in the Six Nations standings, courtesy of a single bonus point that separates them from the defending champions, France, who are hot on their heels in fourth. After losing to Scotland in their tournament opener 29-23, England managed to bounce back with a good performance over Italy in their second match, winning the encounter 31-14. While the margin of victory in that match was impressive, it does not tell the full story, as England showed signs of weakness in defense that allowed the Italians to register two tries, earning them a bonus point in the process. Nevertheless, Steve Borthwick will head to Cardiff in good spirits and will fancy notching up his second win as head coach in this one.
