Viktoria Hruncakova vs Tereza Martincova Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Prague Open

Another women's singles tournament has seen seed after seed fall. Tereza Martincova is the eighth seed for the hard court Prague Open and is the highest left in the top half of the draw.  She takes on wild card Viktoria Kuzmova for the place in the last four against either ninth seeded Greet Minnen or Storm Sanders. Martincova is the world number 78 which is her highest ever ranking. Not for much longer though as her live ranking is 74th. The Czech has been rising up the rankings of late and was as low as 129th as March began. The last 16 was reached in Dubai where she beat Kiki Bertens. Martincova got to the last eight on grass in both Nottingham and Birmingham and two top 40 players were beaten at Wimbledon, before losing to eventual finalist Karolina Pliskova. She's yet to drop a set so far in this tournament.

Viktoria Kuzmova began the week ranked 156th in the singles but 30th when it comes to doubles. It took her to the fourth tournament of the year to win a match. Then the Czech got to the last eight of  a WTA 250 event held in Monterrey, though no top 100 players were beaten. Not much else has happened since then in terms of singles and she failed to get to the main draw at Wimbledon. This week has seen her come from behind to beat Mona Barthel and then Rebecca Sramkova who had beaten top seeded Petra Kvitova in the first round. Kuzmova has had one match against Martincova and Kuzmova won that in Lyon last year. Martincova has improved since then though and she can get the win here.
