Elina Svitolina had a big win in the last round with victory over fourth seed Jasmine Paolini. The 28th seed now takes on unseeded Veronika Kudermetova in the last 16 of the Australian Open. Here's our match prediction.

Svitolina is playing her first tournament since last August's US Open. The Ukrainian has made a great comeback this week and has reached the fourth round of this outdoor hard court Grand Slam for the second successive year.

Her run has taken the 30-year-old to 28th in the live rankings. Wins this week have come against Sorana Cirstea, Caroline Dolehide and Jasmine Paolini. The first set was lost against the Italian in round three but Svitolina levelled and then won the final set to love.

Veronika Kudermetova is up to 51st in the live rankings after being 75th in the last published list. It means she's back ahead of her sister Polina. The 27-year-old is in the fourth round of the Australian Open for the first time.

A win here will take Kudermetova into her second quarter-final of the year, having reached that stage in Hobart. Olivia Gadecki, 22nd seed Olivia Gadecki and 15th--seeded Beatriz Haddad Maia have been beaten with only Boulter taking a set off her.
