USA vs Italy Prediction & Betting Tips - United Cup

The first ever United Cup final will see the USA take on surprise finalists Italy. It's perhaps not too surprising that the Americans have reached this final. They certainly have the strongest line-up with Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys. The group stages saw the US beat the Czech Republic 4-1 and then Germany 5-0. The only loss came when Jessica Pegula lost to Petra Kvitova. Their City Final was won 4-1 against Great Britain (Fritz lost to Norrie) but in the semi-final they stormed past Poland 5-0. That included Pegula beating world number one Iga Swiatek in straight sets and losing just four games.

The US will hope to get off to a flying start in this final. They start off with Pegula up against Martina Trevisan, followed by Frances Tiafoe taking on Lorenzo Musetti. The third match could be a vital one as Taylor Fritz takes on the unbeaten Matteo Berrettini.  The second women's singles match sees the unbeaten Madison Keys take on Lucia Bronzetti. If the match is still not decided, the mixed doubles sees Pegula and Fritz take on Berrettini and Trevisan. Italy are in this final despite losing in the City Finals to Poland. They were given a semi-final place as the best losers and beat Greece 4-1 in the semi-final. The USA look to a stronger team and can win the United Cup.
