Ugo Humbert vs Grigor Dimitrov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Marseille

Grigor Dimitrov bids to win his second ATP Tournament of the year. The second seed faces fourth seeded Ugo Humbert in the final of the Open 13 Provence. Dimitrov is up to 13th in the live rankings but beating Humbert would see him go up to 11th. That's still well below his career high of third achieved seven years ago. January saw him win the Brisbane Interational title with a victory over Holger Rune in the final. He wasn't so successful in the Australian Open and lost in the last 32 to Nuno Borges who was unseeded. This is his first tournament since then and he's reached the final for the loss of only one set. That was in his semi-final against the third seed Karen Khachanov, losing the first set on a tie-break. He's beaten Humbert in their two previous matches that were played but this is their first meeting since 2020.. Both wins were on a hard court.

Ugo Humbert will have his home fans cheering him on in this final. He was ranked 21st at the start of this ATP 250 tournament but is now up to a career high 19th and can move up to 18th if getting a first ever win over Dimitrov. Before this tournament he hadn't got past the second round of an event this year. It's gone much better for him back in France and has only dropped one set in his three matches. That was against qualifier Hugo Gaston only winning a couple of games. He recovered well to win the next two for the loss of only four games. Humbert has beaten fifth seeded Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and top seed Hubert Hurkacz since then. This could be a close match but we go for Dimitrov to win the title.
