Ugo Humbert vs Constant Lestienne Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Atlanta Open

Ugo Humbert is the seventh seed in the Atlanta Open. He takes on unseeded fellow Frenchman Constant Lestienne in the first round of this outdoor hard court tournament. The winner will face a qualifier in round two with the victor going into the quarter finals. Humbert returns to hard courts after a successful week on grass in which he got to the last four of the Hall of Fame Open in Newport. He's 38th in the live rankings and still in with a chance of making it into the top 32 and be seeded at the upcoming US Open. He's facing Lestienne for the first time in the main draw of an ATP Tour tournament. Two previous meetings have been shared with Lestienne winning last year in Vancouver on an outdoor hard court. 

That was on the Challenger Tour and Lestienne went on to win the title. He'd love to see a return to the form he showed in that match. He's down to 94th in the live rankings and lost in the last 32 in Newport. His three set loss to James Duckworth made it six defeats in his last seven matches. It's not been a good year at all for him with only five wins in 19 main draw ATP Tour matches played this year. Three of those wins came at the start of 2023 when reaching the semi-finals in Auckland but then pulling out of the tournament. Humbert is in far better form at present and we go for him to win this all-French clash.
