Boston’s 5-2 win over the New York Rangers has extended their winning streak to seven games as they currently sit atop the Eastern Conference with a record of 10-1-0. They’ll try to keep their incredible run going when they travel to the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs who have undergone a disappointing start to the 2022/23 season. With how hard the Leafs have been hit by the injury bug, it’s no surprise they’ve been struggling to start the season. It’s hard to go against the Bruins with the form they are in, even more so when the oddsmakers are offering them up as the underdogs. This would be a much more interesting matchup if the Leafs weren’t dealing with such a raft of injuries and would likely come in as much heavier favorites. However, given the defense issues in the team we see some good value in backing Boston to make it eight in a row.
