Fourth seeded Tommy Paul takes on qualifier Stefan Koslov in the Delray Beach Open quarter finals. Paul is a career high 41 in the rankings but that's going to be beaten in the next listings. The American is up to 39th in the live rankings and this is his third quarter final of the year. The other two were both in Adelaide in the warm-up tournaments for the Australian Open. He only reached the second round in the first Grand Slam of the year. This is his fourth time in the Delray Beach Open but the first time he's made it past the last 16. He beat qualifier Dennis Istomin in his only match so far, conceding just two games. If he can win this match, Paul will face either top seed Cameron Norrie or Sebastian Korda (who beat him here last year) in the semi-finals.

Stefan Koslov began this week ranked 151st but is up to 130th in the live rankings. He had to play two qualifying matches to reach the main draw of the Delray Beach Open. Koslov had problems in the first round, having to come from behind to defeat lucky loser Emilio Gomez. He followed that up with a straight sets win over Steve Johnson to reach this quarter final. Koslov lost in two junior Grand Slam finals eight years ago but has never made it into the top 100 in the senior ranks. He spends most of his career on the Challenger Tour and won three titles last year. This is a big step up for him though and it's Paul who can get the win.
