12th seed Tommy Paul is in the fourth round at Wimbledon for only the second time. He takes on unseeded Roberto Bautista Agut hoping to reach the last eight for the first time. The winner of this match will next take on either defending champion Carlos Alcaraz or 16th seed Ugo Humbert.

Only once has Paul reached the last eight of a Grand Slam tournament. That was in the 2023 Australian Open but his best at Wimbledon has been this stage two years ago. He arrived at Wimbledon in good form having won the Queen's Club title.

His first two matches in this year's tournament took him nine sets to win. He lost a set to Pedro Martinez and then needed a final set to beat Otto Virtanen after trailing two sets to one. It was smoother in round three as he beat 23rd seed Alexander Bublik in straight sets.

Roberto Bautista Agut has risen from 112th to 75th in the live rankings but he was ninth in 2019. That was the year when the Spaniard reached the semi-finals and he's going well again this year, reaching the fourth round here for the fifth time.

Round one saw him get a straight sets win over Maximilian Marterer. Four were needed to get past Lorenzo Sonego in the second round. His toughest match was in round three when it took him five sets to defeat Fabio Fognini after losing two of the first three sets. 

He leads Paul 3-2 in previous meetings. He won the first three (all played in 2021) but has lost the last two. We go for over 3.5 sets to be played.
