Tommy Paul vs Dušan Lajović Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

28th seeded Dusan Lajovic takes on Tommy Paul in the second round of the Indian Wells tournament. The winner of this match will face either fourth seeded Andrey Rublev or Carlos Taberner in round three. Lajovic is the world number 35 but was as high as 23rd two years ago.  He's dropped nine places this year. The Serb has had some notable victories this year, including beating Daniil Medvedev in March and Felix Auger-Aliassime in Augus. It took him until May to reach a quarter final. That was on clay in Belgrade and further eight appearances came in Hamburg and Umag two months later. Of 38 matches played this year, 23 have been lost.

Tommy Paul is ranked 60th in the world. The American began this year eight places higher than his ranking leading into this Indian Wells tournament. Paul reached the quarter finals in Rotterdam but had a spell of just two wins in nine matches. He rediscovered his form in Parma, getting to the semi-finals but then won one in five. His last two matches had been lost before getting a 6-3 7-6 win over Feliciano Lopez in the first round of this tournament.  This is his first meeting with Lajovic and it could just be a case of which player performs best on the day. A bet on Lajovic may well be a winner.
