The San Miguel Beermen will look to bounce back after dropping game one of the PBA Philippine Cup finals to the defending champions TNT Tropang Giga. TNT battled back from a 12 point deficit at halftime with a huge third quarter and found themselves all even at 84 points a piece with the game coming to a close. A great defensive possession saw TNT force the Beermen into a 24-second violation which gave the champions a chance to steal the game with only three seconds remaining on the clock. Veteran point guard Jayson Castro was given the responsibility of trying to win the game for TNT and the 36-year-old did not disappoint, hitting the eventual game winning jumper as time expired. It’s now on San Miguel to respond and avoid what would be a troubling 2-0 deficit if they were to drop this game as well.
