TNT lead Magnolia Hotshots 2-1 in the final of the PBA Cup with a possible four games remaining in this best-of-seven series. The number one seeds can go to within a game of the title if winning this fourth match. They won 10 of their 11 games in the elimination round. The knock out rounds have seen them defeat Barangay Ginebra and San Miguel Beermen 4-3. The first two matches of this final were both won by TNT by 18 and 12 points respectively. TNT could easily have won that first game by a wider margin as they led by 26 points going into the final quarter. Magnolia got back in contention with an eight point win in the third match. Now comes a crucial match, can TNT take themselves to within one win of becoming PBA Cup champions or will the Hotshots get back to 2-2. TNT look to be in the better form and capable of winning quarters by wide margins, back them to get the win here.
