World number 72 Thiago Seyboth Wild and Yannick Hanfmann, the world number 116, will meet in the Kitzbuhel quarter-finals. The two will square off on Thursday with the winner playing Nicolas Moreno, Matteo Berrettini or Alejandro Tabilo in the semis. Ahead of the duo’s fourth meeting, here’s a look at the match’s stats and a prediction.
Wild’s sole victory against Hanfmann was achieved on clay in 2019 in Montevideo. He will hope for a similar outcome here to set his best result so far in 2024. The Brazilian has now secured passage to the quarter-finals twice this year.
