The Rays currently sit third in the tough AL East with their 54-47 record putting them a massive 14.5 games behind the first place Yankees. The Guardians however, only trail the first-place Twins by two games in the AL Central with their 51-49 record placing them second. Tampa Bay is currently holding onto the third and final Wild Card spot just ahead of Cleveland with a little over a third of the season remaining.
