by Joseph King | in NFL Predictions
Sunday Night Football in the NFL sees a rematch of Super Bowl LV when two of the league’s best teams face off at Raymond James Stadium for this week four clash. Both the Tampa Bay Bucs and Kansas City Chiefs come into this game with a 2-1 record and will each be desperate to avoid going .500 with a loss. The Tom Brady led Bucs are coming off a 14-12 loss to the Green Bay Packers in their last game while the Chiefs will try to bounce back after a 20-17 loss of their own to the Colts. All eyes will be on the quarterback matchup as the 45-year-old greatest of all-time Tom Brady faces off against the player that many think may one day dethrone him in the 27-year-old Patrick Mahomes.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Kansas City Chiefs: Form Analysis
Both teams are coming off a loss in this one after each having 2-0 starts to the season. For the Bucs, their 12 point performance against the Packers was more a case of simply not having enough players healthy to pose any real kind of offensive threat. The Chiefs were held to an unusually low 17 points in their loss to the Colts after being the highest average scoring team in the league last season at 28.2 points per game. Tampa’s defense could play the deciding role in this matchup as the Bucs have been performing excellently on that side of the ball and have allowed a league low 27 points.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers & Kansas City Chiefs Squad Analysis
The Bucs are dealing with a major injury criss at the moment and have six players listed on the most recent injury report as either out, doubtful or questionable. Brady was forced to face Aaron Rodgers and the Packers last week without almost all of his wide receiver targets. The good news for Tampa Bay fans is that Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and possibly Julio Jones are expected to suit up for this game, as well as left tackle Donovan Smith. On the other side, the Chiefs received a huge boost with the return of a number of players for Thursday’s practice. The only players that look set to miss out on this game are kicker Harrison Butker and defensive end Joshua Kaindoh.

Our Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Kansas City Chiefs Prediction
We’re going to back the Tampa Bay Bucs to win this one and take them getting the point on the +1 spread. The Bucs getting back a number of weapons for Tom Brady is enough to swing this one in their favor in what will likely be a close matchup. The bookmakers opened with the Chiefs as -3 point road favorites before injury news was released and an apparent buy back with the field goal hook from the sharp money. Even at +1, the Bucs have enough firepower now to win this game straight up as Brady should be able to get one over on Mahomes yet again.
