Tallon Griekspoor vs Roberto Bautista-Agut Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Halle Open

Seventh seeded Roberto Bautista Agut faces unseeded Tallon Greikspoor in the Halle Open second round. World number 20 Agut is a former semi-finalist in this tournament and reached the last eight on two other occasions. He had a good win in the first round beating Marton Fucsovics. He won the first set 6-2 and was 3-0 up in the second when his opponent retired. If he can win this match, his quarter final opponent will be either Iyla Ivashka or new world number one Daniil Medvedev. Agut's record on grass is an impressive one and in addition to success here has reached the semi-final at Wimbledon. He's got to at least the third round there in each of the last six years. He's only won one grass court tournament though and that was in the Netherlands eight years ago. This year has been up and down but he did win the Doha tournament in February.

Tallon Greikspoor began this tournament in 61st place in the world. He's up to a career high 53rd in the live rankings and a win here will take him into the top 50 for the first time. He had to win two qualifying matches to get through to the main draw in Halle. The first round saw him beat Alex Molcan 7-6 6-3. His grass court record is nowhere near as impressive as that of his opponent. Greikspoor has never made it past the first round at Wimbledon and twice failed to qualify. Last week saw him lose to Felix Auger-Aliassime in the last 16 of a grass court tournament held in the Netherlands. He only beat the world number 161 in the first round of that event. He's reached two quarter finals this year but a third looks unlikely. Go for Agut to get the win.
