Tallon Griekspoor vs Marton Fucsovics Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rotterdam

World number 38 Marton Fucsovics takes on wild card Tallon Griekspoor in the second round in Rotterdam. Both players are unseeded and in the next round (the quarter finals) will face either second seeded Andrey Rublev or Kwon Soon-Woo. Fucsovics has made an inconsistent start to the new year. Coming into this tournament, he'd won just one out of four matches. His only victory was in Adelaide, beating Botic van de Zandschlup. Twice this year he has lost to a player ranked outside the top 100. The other loss was in the first round of the Australian Open, losing in round one to Dusan Lajovic in five sets. This week has seen him beat Filip Krajinovic after losing the first set. 

Tallon Griekspoor is ranked 62nd but up to a career high 59th in the live rankings. Last year ended with him winning five Challenger Tour events in a row. The French player got his 2022 off to a good start with a quarter final in Adelaide. He beat two players ranked outside the top 50 but then withdrew from his match against Rafa Nadal. Griekspoor caused a surprise in the Australian Open when beating Fabio Fognini in the first round. He then lost to Pablo Carreno Busta in five sets. Back in Europe, he had a tough draw in Montpellier last week. He had the misfortune of drawing Alexander Bublik in the first round. Griekspoor lost in straight sets and Bublik went on to win the title. He had a tough draw here as well but managed to beat seventh seeded Aslan Karatsev. He lost the first set but won the next two via tie-breaks. Another hard match lies ahead and it's Griekspoor who can get a win, possibly in three sets.
