Tallon Griekspoor vs Hubert Hurkacz Prediction & Betting Tips - Swiss Indoors ATP Basel

Fourth seed Hubert Hurkacz faces unseeded Tallon Griekspoor in the Swiss Indoors Championships quarter finals. The winner of this match faces either unseeded Ugo Humbert or wild card Dominic Stricker. Hurkacz recently won the Shanghai Masters and was ranked 11th at the start of this indoor hard court tournament. The Pole will remain in that position regardless of how this tournament progresses. In the Live ATP Race, he's 10th and still in with a good chance of securing a top eight finish and qualify for the Tour Finals. Hurkacz has beaten Dusan Lajovic and Jan-Lennard Struff to reach the last eight and hasn't dropped a set so far, losing only eight games in his last three sets.

Tallon Griekspoor was in 25th position at the commencement of this tournament. His run to the last eight in Basel has taken him up to 22nd which beats his previous career high of 24th. Beating Hurkacz will see him go up to 21st. The Dutchman is in his third successive ATP Tour quarter final, though the last two only required him to win one match to get that far. It's been a bit tougher for him this week and in round one he had to come from a set down to get past lucky loser Thiago Seyboth Wild. Round two saw him get a good straight sets win over fifth seeded Alex de Minaur. This is the first time since Washington two months ago that he's won more than one match in a singles tournament.  He's had two previous matches against Hurkacz, both played this year. It's 1-1 between them but this is their first meeting on a hard court. We go for Hurkacz to continue his good form and get the win.
