Here's an intriguing match in the first round of the Olympic Games Men's Singles tennis tournament. Great Britain's Cameron Norrie takes on Tallon Griekspoor from the Netherlands. Read on to find out much more and discover our prediction.

Tallon Griekspoor is the higher ranked of the two players and was 27th in the latest rankings. He turned 28 earlier this month and this is his first tournament since the clay court tournament held in Bastad earlier this month.

That saw him lose in his first match to Timofey Skatov who was ranked outside the top 200 at the time. This tournament is being played on clay at Roland Garros and the Dutchman will hope to do better than that. 

He made it to round three at this year's French Open, losing in five sets to Alexander Zverev. Before that, he'd reached the quarter-finals of the Geneva clay court tournament, being beaten by Novak Djokovic in straight sets.

Like his opponent, Cameron Norrie is making his debut in the Olympics. The British player was 44th in the last published ranking list and also played in the Bastad clay court tournament. He won his first round match but then lost to eventual finalist Rafael Nadal in straight sets.

Norrie has won two clay court titles, including beating Carlos Alcaraz in the final of last year's Rio Open. A rematch could be on the cards as the winner of this match takes on either Alcaraz or Hadly Habib in round two.

He's reached the semi-finals in Rio this year and also the last eight in Barcelona. At Roland Garros, he lost in the first round to Pavel Kotov in five sets. We go for Norrie to win this match.
