Tallon Griekspoor vs Alexei Popyrin Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Libema Open

Tallon Griekspoor is the sixth seed in the Libema Open. He bids to reach the quarter finals and to do so has to get past unseeded Alexei Popyrin. If successful, a last eight match against either fourth seeded Alex de Minaur or Laslo Djere awaits. Griekspoor is in his first grass court tournament of the year and was ranked 38th when it began. He'll be hoping to climb up the rankings and possibly be seeded at Wimbledon where he's never made it past round two. Last year saw him win seven of his 11 matches played on a grass court. The Dutch player has won a hard court tournament in Pune this year and also the last four of a Rotterdam indoor hard court event. In the first round of this Libema Open he had to go to three sets to get past Mikael Ymer, losing the middle one. 

World number 90 Alexei Popyrin has a 13-12 ATP Tour record this year. One quarter final has been reached and two others on the Challenger Tour. This is his second grass court event of the year. His first was a Challenger Tour event in Surbiton and didn't go well for him. He lost in his first match to Luke Saville who was ranked 415th at the time. He's gone better in this event wtih a first round straight sets win over Arthur Rinderknech, needing a tie-break in the second. There have been two previous matches against Griekspoor and they are level at 1-1. The most recent match was on clay in April with Popyrin getting the win. Both sets in that match were determined by a tie-break. The other was a win for Griekspoor on a hard court ln January 2022. We go for over 24.5 games to be played in this match.
