Storm Sanders vs Emma Raducanu Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Stuttgart Open

Emma Raducanu is the eighth seed for the Porsche Grand Prix. The world number 12 takes on Storm Sanders in the second round after receiving a bye in the first round. Raducanu has struggled to bulld on the success she had at Wimbledon and the US Open last year. There have been injury problems, particularly blisters on her feet. That seriously affected her in the Billie Jean King Cup as she suffered a heavy defeat by Marketa Vondrousova. Before that though, Raducanu had played well on her clay court tournament debut against Tareza Martincova. Hopefully, the blisters problem won't affect her in this match. Raducanu is in the same quarter of the draw as world number one Iga Swiatek so getting past the last eight in this event looks unlikely. What Raducanu does need though is a couple of injury-free wins to boost her confidence.

If that is the case, then a win over Storm Sanders should be achieved. The Australian began this tournament ranked 197th in the world and is much better at doubles where she's ranked 16th. Sanders has struggled to qualify for main draws missing out in Monterrey and Guadalajara. Sanders is yet to reach the last 16 of a tournament this year and had to play two qualifiers to get into the main draw in this event. The final qualifer saw her beat Tamara Korpatsch in straight sets. Korpatsch then got into the main draw as a lucky loser, beat Camilia Giorgi and will face the winner of this match in the second round (last 16). Raducanu did play well in that win last week and if totally fit, can get past Sanders.
