The Premier League Darts moves to Nottingham for Night Six. Stephen Bunting is bottom of the league and still without a win. He takes on fifth-placed Gerwyn Price in the quarter-finals. Can The Bullet finally win? Here’s our match prediction.
Bunting has lost all five of his matches in this year’s Premier League Darts. That has left him eight points adrift of the play-offs and he really needs a win here. Last week saw him beaten in Brighton 6-2 by Nathan Aspinall. The weekend saw him lose in the last eight of the Belgian Darts Open.
The winner of this match will be up against either Michael van Gerwen or Nathan Aspinall in the semi-finals. Gerwyn Price is just a point behind the final play-off position but comes to Nottingham hoping to avoid a third straight league loss.
Night Two saw him reach the semi-finals and then the following week he was the winner of Night Three. He hasn’t been able to build on that though with successive losses to Luke Humphries and last week, Michael van Gerwen. A win here will see him end the night in the top four. He also lost in the Belgian quarter-finals on Sunday.
