Stefanos Tsitsipas takes on Holger Rune in their second matches in the Green Group of the hard court ATP Finals. Both players need a win here to boost their chances of reaching the knockout stages after losing their first matches. Tsitispas is the sixth seed in this tournament and that's two places higher than his opponent. He began these ATP Finals with a match against Jannik Sinner and lost that in straight sets. That was his second successive loss after losing to Grigor Dimitrov in the Paris Masters semi-finals in a match that included two tie-breaks. The Greek has been in good form in the lead up to this tournament. He's reached the last four in each of his last three tournaments but needs to get a win here to keep alive his chances especially with his last group match being against Novak Djokovic.

Holger Rune faced the world number one on Sunday and lost in three sets. The first two sets both went to tie-breaks with Rune winning the second one. Djokovic pulled ahead in the deciding set and won that 6-3. Rune took the final qualifying place in these ATP Tour Finals. Recent tournaments have seen him reach the last four in Basel and the Paris Masters quarter finals. On both occasions he was beaten by the eventual champion. Rune has won both of his previous matches against Tsitsipas. Both were played last year, one on clay and the other on a hard court. One of those matches went to a final set. We believe a close match is likely here and go for over 23.5 games to be played.
