Dominic Stricker will seek to upset seventh seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in their second-round meeting at the US Open on Wednesday. A match in the next round against 28th seed Christopher Eubanks or the wildcard Benjamin Bonzi awaits the winner here. Tsitsipas defeated Milos Raonic in straight sets in the first round. Stricker has played just eight matches on hard court in 2023. He has been victorious six times on the surface. Ranked 109th in the live ranking, Stricker has won two challenger titles this season. He made his Grand Slam debut at the French Open earlier this year and won his first match in a major at Wimbledon.
