There's a fascinating match set for the evening match at Roland Garros tonight. Fifth seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas is up against second seeded Daniil Medvedev for a place in the last French Open semi-final. The winner will be up against either Alexander Zverev or Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. Medvedev may be the second seed but that's solely on the world ranking he has. Imagine if he was world number one, he'd be top seed at Roland Garros despite never having won a match there. The Russian finally got that first win under his belt when beating Andrey Bublik and has gone on to reach the last eight. He could actually get to the world number one position this week but beating Stefanos Tsitisipas is an almighty difficult task.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has earned more ranking points than any other player this year. That's not surprising as he nearly always goes deep in tournaments. He's won 37 out of 45 matches this year, winning two tournaments and losing in two finals. He reached the semi-finals at Roland Garros last year and another last four appearance looks on its way. He's only dropped one set so far in this tournament and can get the win here.
