Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Borna Ćorić Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Cincinnati Open

Fourth seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas takes on unseeded Borna Coric in the final of the Cincinnati Masters. Tsitsipas began this week ranked seventh in the world but his run to this final has seen him rise to fifth. Winning this final will see him go above Carlos Alcarez into fourth. He's bidding to win his third title of the year after successes in Monte Carlo and Mallorca. It's his fifth final of the year and his third in a Masters event. It's not been going too well for him of late with the Greek failing to get past the last 32 of his last two tournaments. He's back in form this week though with wins over Filip Krajinovic, 13th seeded Diego Schwartzmann, John Isner and in his semi-final, the top seed and world number one Daniil Medvedev in three sets. He's 1-1 in previous meetings with Coric. They first met in 2018 with Tsitsipas winnning after his opponent retired hurt when 4-1 down in the first set. Their most recent match was a five-set win for Coric at the 2020 US Open.

Borna Coric began this tournament down in 152nd place in the rankings. Reaching this final has taken his ranking up to 48th and winning the title would see him rise to 29th and get him a seeding at the US Open. Coric is a former world number 12 but had shoulder surgery last year. He didn't begin playing tournaments this year until March and made a poor start in his comeback. He lost seven of his first nine matches and some were on the lesser Challenger Tour. He played well on clay and won a Challenger event in June and got to the quarter finals of the ATP Tour event in Hamburg.. This week has seen him recapture his old form with wins over Lorenzo Musetti. second seeded Rafael Nadal (in three sets), 15th seeded Roberto Bautista Agut, the seventh seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime and then in the last four, ninth seeded Cameron Norrie in straight sets. Can he go all the way? Tsitsipas looks to be back at his best, go for the Greek to win this.
