Second placed Stade Toulousain host Pau in the Top 14 this weekend. They are only three points behind leaders Stade Francais Pau, while the visitors are down in eighth place. The home side have won 12 of their 19 league games this season and are set to get the top two finish that will take them into the play-offs at the semi-final stage. They are seven points clear of third-placed Bordeaux Begles. Stade Toulousain owe their high placing to their excellent home form. All nine of their matches on home soil have been won with a massive +189 points difference. Their most recent home fixture saw them beat Castres Olimpique 33-6. Three of their last four home league wins have been by at least 20 points.

Pau may be only eighth the table but still have hopes of making the end-of-season play-offs. There's only a point difference between them and Stade Rochelais who occupy sixth place after 19 games of the season. Pau are also strong at home with eight wins out of ten. It's a different story on the road though with seven out of nine being lost. Their last away fixture saw them lost 31-28 at Clermont. Before that they went down 25-12 at leaders Stade Francais Paris. This looks another tough task for them and we tip Stade Toulousain to get a tenth home win of the season and do so defying a -19 points handicap.
