Stade Francais Paris are having a season to forget, both in the Champions Cup and Top 14 as they are struggling on both fronts. Their torrid run has seen them win just one of their last six games in all competitions.

In their backyard, results have also not been forthcoming as they have lost two of their last three games. This encounter is increasingly looking like a must-win for Laurent Labit if they are to make the playoffs.

Northampton Saints are enjoying a good run of form following a challenging start to their campaign. Those unconvincing results early in the season saw them sit on the wrong end of the Premiership log after emerging champions last season.

Their form book now reads four wins in the last five games in all competitions. Their improvement has also been registered in the Champions Cup where they have posted a perfect start.

The two bonus point victories have left them at the summit of the log with 10 points after beating Castres Olympique and Bulls.
