St. Louis Blues vs Vegas Golden Knights Prediction & Betting Tips - NHL

The 16-5-5 Vegas Golden Knights head into St Louis to take on the 13-10-1 Blues. They met in the early hours of Tuesday morning when the Blues came out on top 2-1 after overtime. A goal with 20 seconds left on the clock in the first saw the Blues in front after the opening period. The Knights tied things up in the third before the Blues quickly took the two points in overtime. They have been inconsistent, alternating wins and losses in their last seven games and in the process their offence has blown hot and cold. The only twice that they have played at home in their last 10 games there have been goals galore with that inconsistency once more stopping them from making any serious ground in the standings.
The Knights are the defending champions and made a lightning start to the season winning their first nine games on the bounce. Things have cooled off a little since, going 7-5-5 but they still lead the west in points with 37. They did a good job of forcing the Blues into shots from outside the circles for the majority of the game on Tuesday morning but they had a brick wall in Binnington to beat who stopped 8 to 10 point blank chances. Jack Eichel added to his team leading points total with his 11th goal of the season. Adin Hill has turned himself into one of the top netminders in the league in the last year and a half, he was missing for Vegas on Tuesday and will be absent for this contest as well.
