St. Louis Blues vs Anaheim Ducks Prediction & Betting Tips - NHL

Early on Monday morning, the 23-41-3 Anaheim Ducks wrap up a four-game road trip with a visit to the 34-29-3 St Louis Blues. The Blues have not had many home games of late, but they have taken advantage of the ones they have got. In their last three here, they have conceded two goals in total. Defensively they have been a little more in and out on the road, holding the Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins to a goal apiece but shipping four at the New York Rangers, Islanders and the New Jersey Devils. In 29% of the Blues games this season, they have conceded one or fewer goals which has to make them very interesting against a team who struggle to find the net. They are 21-15-2 since Drew Bannister took over from Craig Berube as the head coach. Berube won the Stanley Cup with the Blues and this is Bannister's first job as the main man but the Blues have responded well.
The Ducks have lost five straight and have failed to find the net in their last two games at the Minnesota Wild and Winnipeg Jets. It took the Jets a while to get on top in that game, 1-0 up after the first period and 2-0 after two but the Ducks fell apart late, ending up on the wrong end of a 6-0 beating. That is the third time in this five-game losing streak that the Ducks have shipped six, conceding seven and two in the other pair. Only the San Jose Sharks are in a worse position in terms of goals against, with only the Sharks again and the Chicago Blackhawks scoring fewer than the Ducks.
