The Lions are bottom of Group D, while the Flying Dutchmen are third. It has been a forgettable tournament for Sri Lanka, who will be playing this match as a mere formality. The Flying Dutchmen’s victory in this competition came against Nepal and was followed by back-to-back defeats to South Africa and Bangladesh. While the Dutch did beat this opponent during the warm-up campaign, they have lost all three of their previous T20 World Cup encounters against the Lions.
