South Africa vs England Prediction & Betting Tips - Fourth Test match

England lost the first test of their series in South Africa but have fought back well. They go into the fourth and final test with a 2-1 lead and are assured of at least drawing the series. That's not what they want though and go into this match with a good chance of winning as the South Africans continue to struggle. A bonus for the tourists is that fast bowler Jofra Archer may be fit to play in this game after missing the last two test matches. They might need him as Mark Wood, who played in the third test is an injury doubt. England's battling line-up still has a few problems but the form of Denly, Pope, Root and Stokes has played a key role in their comeback in this series.

Souh Africa don't have such high hopes about their batting line-up. They failed to make it to 250 in both of their innings in the third test. England went on to win that by an innings and 53 runs after scoring 499 in their sole innings. Only de Kok and Maharaj  hit half centuries in the third test and neither of them are in the top five of the batting order. The captaincy of du Plessis is again in question, especially after de Kock was named as South Africa's captain for the 2023 World Cup. South Africa have failed to get past 300 in any first innings in this series and that's going to have to change if they want to win this match and draw the series. England have the momentum here, both with the bat and ball and can be backed to win this test and take the series 3-1.
