South Africa vs England Prediction & Betting Tips - Second Test Match
by Steve Ashfield | in Cricket Predictions
The England tour of South Africa is becoming a rather accident prone one. They lost the first test and now have yet more injury problems ahead of the second one in Cape Town. The bug that caused sickness problems before and during the first test seems to have been resolved now. Not so the dangers of getting injured playing football. Opener Rory Burns is doubtful for this game after suffering an injury to hls left ankle. Also struggling to be fit are Jofra Archer, Jack Leach and Mark Wood. England may have to bring in one of their two remaining spinners, namely Dom Bess and uncapped Matt Parkinson. England will be trying to get back on level terms in this four-test series. The first match again saw their batting line-up show its fragility, they really can't afford to be without Burns who scored 84 in England's second innings. With Bairstow and Buttler not in the best of form, an England collapse always seems to be just around the corner.
South Africa also have a few batting problems with only two players getting above 50 in the first test. de Kock is their best batsman at present with innings of 95 and 34 in the first match. It was a good all-round bowling performance that helped get them the 107 run win. Pieter Malan is expected to make his test debut. He'll replace Aiden Markham who has a fractured finger and won't be taking any further part in this series. There's been a few rumblings in the background due to the failure of the selectors to choose the recommended number of black and coloured players but that's likely to upset the officials rather than the players. South Africa have the momentum and with England again having selection problems, the tip here is for an England win.

Our South Africa vs England Prediction
This is becoming one of those England overseaa tours where everything goes wrong. The first test has already been lost and the English side now has more injury problems to contend with. Their batting and bowling let them down in the first test and they can't afford to do that again in Cape Town. South Africa weren't in top form themselves but unless England suddenly improve, the tip here is for a South African win.
