14th seed Anna Kalinskaya caused a shock in the last round when beating second-seeded Madison Keys. The Russian now faces unseeded Sofia Kenin for a place in the last four of the Charleston Open. Here's our match prediction.

Kalinskaya is the world number 33 so battling to be seeded for the upcoming French Open. The 26-year-old had won only four of her 11 matches this year before beginning her clay court campaign.

The change in surface has worked well for her with two straight sets wins over Caty McNally and Madison Keys with only 11 games being dropped. A win will take Kalinskaya into her second semi-final of the year.

Sofia Kenin was ranked 44th in the latest list and is playing in her third quarter-final of the year, both in hard court tournaments. The American has shown good form in Charleston this week with two seeds being beaten.

FIrstly she beat 17th-seeded Belinda Bencic with only three games being lost. Kenin then defeated the fifth seed Daria Kasatkina in straight sets, needing a tie-break in the second. The American is a former Roland Garros finalist, achieving that five years ago.

This could be a close match but we tip Kenin to get the victory.
