Jannik Sinner vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Finals
by Daniel Ngulu in Tennis Predictions
Fourth seed Jannik Sinner and sixth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas will on Sunday square off at the ATP Finals in Turin. The two players have been pooled together in Green Group alongside top seed Novak Djokovic and eighth seed Holger Rune. Jannik Sinner is playing in the ATP Finals for the first time as a direct qualifier. The last time he played at this event was in 2021 and he did so as an alternate. Sinner has been in excellent form in the final months of the season. He has won 25 of his last 29 matches. This form has resulted in three of his five titles. Sinner qualified for these finals after finishing fourth in the live race. The Italian has been on the receiving end a majority of the time against Tsitsipas but won the last time they met. This was earlier this year in Rotterdam. The win was one of his 13 in 14 outings on indoor hard courts this year.
Stefanos Tsitsipas has defeated Sinner five times in their last seven meetings. He has dominated this series and will be confident of getting back to winning ways against his Italian opponent. Tsitsipas is a former ATP Finals champion. The Greek won the year-end championship back in 2019 in London. But since then, he hasn’t been able to get past the round-robin stage. Tsitsipas qualified for this year’s event after finishing sixth in the live race. He has for the sixth time in his career won at least 50 matches. His run to the semifinals in Paris took him to 51 wins with 11 of those coming on indoor hard courts.
