Novak Djokovic attempts to win his 100th ATP Tour title of his illustrious career. The fourth-seeded Serb takes on top seed and world number one Jannik Sinner in the Shanghai Masters final. Who will win this hard court tournament? Read our match prediction below.

While Federer, Murray and Nadal have all retired or are about to end their careers, Novak Djokovic keeps on playing. It's not been his  best year and only one title has been won by him in 2024. That was when he finally won an Olympic men's single gold medal but that was on clay.

This is his first hard court final of the year. His only other title decider was at Wimbledon where he was beaten by Carlos Alcaraz. The world number four has won four Shanghai Masters titles but the last was six years ago.

Only one set has been dropped by Djokovic in this tournament. That was in the last eight when losing the first set to Jakub Mensik on a tie-break. The semii-finals saw him defeat Taylor Fritz and included his fourth tie-break of the  tournament.

Jannik Sinner is chasing his seventh ATP Tour title of the year. Since August 2023, the Italian has won nine titles, all but one being on hard courts. Two Grand Slams have been won by him in 2024.

He trails Djokovic 4-3 in previous meetings but has only lost one of the last four matches. He has made it to his first Shanghai final for the loss of only one set, a tie-break against Tomas Martin Etchevery in round three.

He's been highly impressive in his last two matches with straight sets wins over Daniil Medvedev and Tomas Machac. We tip him to win this final with a side bet on a tie-break being played.
