The young Italian is in fine form at the moment and has won his last 10 matches. He defeated Daniil Medvedev in three sets to book his first career final in the Men’s year-end tournament. The world number four has had a strong finish to the season. He has made at least the semifinals in five of his last nine tournaments and has won three titles. Novak Djokovic is gunning to be the outright ATP Finals record champions. The Serb has won a joint-high six titles and is the defending champion. Getting back to winning ways against Sinner and avenging his group stage loss is also extra motivation for the world number one. Djokovic defeated Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets in the semifinals. The win was his 54th of the season. A season that has seen him compile the best record as he has lost only six times. The 24-time Grand Slam champion had won 19 consecutive matches before the group stage loss to Sinner. Djokovic has won nine of the 10 matches he has played on indoor hard courts.
