Fifth seed Hubert Hurkacz has a chance of winning his second Halle Open title. He takes on top seed Jannik Sinner in the final of this grass court tournament. The Pole won this title two years ago and in 2021 reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon. Saturday’s semi-final win has taken him up to a career-high seventh in the live rankings. The match against second seed Alexander Zverev saw Hurkacz saw him win the first set on a tie-break and that means he’s played in one in each of his matches at Halle this week. The second set was won 6-4 and now Hurkacz bids to win his second tournament of the year, his other win coming on clay in Munich.

This is the fifth match between these two players and they are level at 2-2. They’ve been taking turns to win and last time it was Sinner who got the win. That was on clay at Monte Carlo last year and this is their first match on grass. The world number one is in his first grass court final. He has had some good results on this surface though and made it to the last four at Wimbledon last year. Four matches have needed to be won to reach this final and the first three of them all required a final set to be played. That wasn't the case in Saturday's semi-final as he beat unseeded Zhizhen Zhang in straight sets. We go for Sinner to get the win in this final.
