Top seed Jannik Sinner faces unseeded Fabian Marozsan for a place in the Halle Open quarter-finals. In the last eight, the winner of this match will take on either sixth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, Jan-Lennard Struff or Luciano Darderi. Sinner is top of the overall rankings and the ATP Live Race after a hugely successful run on hard courts and clay. He's won 34 of his 37 matches this year and that includes winning the Australian Open. The Italian is yet to reach the final of a grass court tournament. He did get to the last four at Wimbledon in 2023 so undoubtedly has talent on this surface. The first round of this tournament saw him take on Tallon Griekspoor and he lost the first set on a tie-break. There was to be no shock though as he only lost five games in the next two sets.

Fabian Marozsan is 45th in the ranking list that was published on Monday. The Hungarian is up a couple of places in the live list after winning his first round match. He defeated Roman Safiullin but had to go to a final set to get the win. The middle set was lost but then he only lost one game in the decider. Marozsan is 45th in the Live ATP Race and can climb as high as 41st if getting a shock win here. Marozsan has only played at Wimbledon once and lost in the first round last year. That was after having to be reinstated as a lucky loser after being beaten in the final qualifying round. This is his second grass court tournament of the year, last week he lost in his first match in Stuttgart. We tip Jannik Sinner to win this in straight sets.
