Both these players are attempting to reach the semi-finals at Wimbledon for the second successive year. Top seed Jannik Sinner faces the fifth-seeded Daniil Medvedev. For the victor, there's a match in the last four against either defending champion Carlos Alcaraz or 12th seed Tommy Paul.

Jannik Sinner tops both the overall and ATP Race rankings. Just three matches have been lost all year and the Italian has won all nine of his matches played on a grass court. He won the Halle Open and now reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon.

This is his third successive Wimbledon quarter-final and that's a big improvement after losing his first two matches at this Grand Slam. To reach the last eight, he's beaten Yannick Hanfmann. Matteo Berrettini, Miomir Kecmanovic and 14th seed Ben Shelton winning his last seven sets.

Sinner trails Medvedev 6-5 in previous meetings but a win here will be his sixth in a row against the Russian. That includes two wins this year, including the final of the Australian Open. This is their first match on grass 

Daniil Medvedev played this tournament six times before getting past the fourth round. Last year he made it to the semi-finals and is now one match from repeating that feat. He's fifth in the live rankings and a place higher in the ATP Race.

His one grass court warm-up event was also the Halle Open. While Sinner won the title, Medvedev was beaten in the last 16. This tournament has produced victories over Aleksandar Kovacevic and a four-set win over Alexandre Muller after losing the first set.

The third round saw him beat Jan-Lennard Struff in four sets but Sunday's match against 10th seed Grigor Dimitrov was a short affair. Medvedev led 5-3 in the first set when his opponent retired. We tip Sinner to win this in straight sets.
